Today in #chainofcommand the British attack through Normandy. A Sherman advances cautiously down a road to encounter a Sdkfz 250/9 lying in wait. The over-eager Sherman gunner put his first shot wide but the second was true. The Sherman then had to survive a flood of Panzerfaust from nearby infantry.

15mm Australian Hawkei

I have plans to build an ultramodern Australian force in 15mm and as part of that I picked up the (not yet released) Hawkei from @eurekamin. A great little model with resin body and metal parts. Comes with four wheels (I picked up an extra as part of a stowage set) and either the turret ring/MG (seen here) or remote operated weapon. With Eureka’s Bushmaster and ASLAVs will make up a good vehicle complement. The Hawkei is Australia’s replacement for the Land Rover as a protected mobility vehicle.

Playing first game of 2009 “Space Hulk”, the original version of which I used to play many years ago. This game is against my 13yo nephew-in-law in his very first game, who rolled extremely well in rear defence wiping out genestealers left and right.
